Ben Brentin Collage
For this post, I decided to create a collage with visual representations of my changing identity as a writer and researcher, both over time in general and specific to each project I embark on. I start off naive, then have lofty ideas of where to take it, thinking I know everything. Then, when I realize I don't know everything, I become discouraged, humbled and, finally, angry with the project. Then, through instruction or time away from the project I am uplifted and inspired with a direction for the project and some creative way to take it. I become critical of my work (and that of others when researching) and reach the en of the project, enlightened about the subject matter ans about myself and what I am capable of.
